For a better Wellington
Why I'm standing
I love Wellington and want it to be the best city in the world. I'm running because there is a housing crisis Wellington, our transport system is broken and because climate change is real. Our leaders are not moving fast enough to fix the issues facing Wellington.
My priorities
Create more homes so that people can afford to rent and live in Wellington.Build a better transport system so that people can travel around without needing a car.Sorting the Library rather than vanity projects because that is what Wellingtonians want.
Why me
I work well with a wide range of people, and I know I can make more of a difference than many of the people on the current council. I am young enough to have the energy required for the job.

Why I'm standing
The wait is over for me and I want to make change to this city "Let's do this."
My priorities
To start water taxi to reduce congestion around the Mt Victory Tunnel.Assist building owners in the CBD to fix and lease their buildings.Pod style housing.
Why me
Despite this being a problem since the 1930s, no one has ever done anything about the constraints. How many years has argument been going on, and things have just got worse. How about some leadership and lets get it done.

Why I'm standing
I'm a proud Wellingtonian and love my city. Wellingtonians are saying they want a Mayor who will get the 'big stuff' right—the things that really matter, the things that affect us all—jobs, housing, transport, the environment and our local communities. They are asking me to stand.
My priorities
Work with GWRC to improve the public bus service for better reliability and more capacity.Increase engagement with and support for our city's business sectors to encourage economic growth.Update our planning rules to ease the build of new homes, to buy or rent, to increase supply.
Why me
I have over 25 years senior leadership experience and for the past 3 years have been a city councillor. I know how the system works and understand what good leadership and governance looks like. I have the experience, strength and pragmatism to oversee a strong path forward for the city.

Why I'm standing
I'm standing for Mayor because I believe our beautiful city has lost its way under current leadership. We need clearer vision, restoration of a sense of energy and pride, a focus on the things that matter, and willingness to engage with the community.
My priorities
Dramatically reduce council's proposed 70-80% rates increases over the next ten years.Actually get Wellington moving through a sensible, balanced transport investment programme.Plan for growth while protecting the things Wellingtonians love most in our city. Fix Civic Square.
Why me
I've lived in Wellington most of my life. I'm deeply involved in our community and have an extensive track record of getting things done. I will fight for what is right even when the going is tough. I know how council/the city work, I have a clear integrated vision.

Why I'm standing
I believe Wellington has been underperforming for many election cycles. We can do better, be more sustainable, greener and work towards the future not the past. Wellington Carbon Neutral by 2022 is an achievable goal. Let's aim at the stars not a hole in the ground.
My priorities
Wellington Carbon Neutral by 2022.Better, more frequent and cheaper public transport. More walk, cycle and wheelchair ways.Turn Wellington from a city to an amazing, sustainable future proof place for all.
Why me
I am part of the Wellington community for nearly 30 years. First in Khandallah and now in Kelburn where I build my own house. Yes I build it not a builder. Putting your mind to it you can achieve the seemingly impossible. Great people person and communicator.

YIMBY Futureproof Wellington
Why I'm standing
2100 is not science fiction—my boys will be in their 80s. I'm standing for mayor to future proof Wellington so that our kids will have a fair chance to succeed as they grow up. I'm determined to deliver climate action for Wellington, not just promises.
My priorities
Reducing transport emissions because we have a moral responsibility to do our bit.Preparing for sea level rise because it will happen no matter how much we reduce emissions.Improve financial decision making because ratepayers deserve better analysis of major projects.
Why me
We need a mayor with the skills to future proof Wellington. I have a PhD in accounting and entrepreneurship. I worked at The Treasury and taught at Victoria University. I'm on the boards of Tawa School and Maanaki Montessori Education Trust. I'm a member of the Institute of Directors.
